Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before purchasing or using DokanGo.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing, accessing, or using DokanGo (“the Platform”, “Service”), you (“the Customer”, “Store Owner”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

DokanGo is a single-vendor e-commerce platform that enables you to create and operate an online store. The Platform includes a customer storefront, an admin dashboard, product management tools, order management, and various integrations such as Steadfast courier and Meta Conversions API.

The Platform is provided as a one-time licensed product with an optional annual renewal for continued hosting, updates, and support.

3. Pricing & Payment

3.1 One-Time Setup Fee

The Platform is available for a one-time setup fee of ৳11,999 BDT. This covers your license to use the Platform and initial setup.

3.2 Annual Renewal

Continued use of the Platform requires an annual renewal fee of ৳8,000/year BDT (exact amount communicated at time of renewal). Renewal covers hosting, maintenance, security updates, and technical support for the following year.

3.3 Renewal Grace Period

If your annual renewal is not paid by the due date, your store will enter a 30-day grace period during which it will be accessible in read-only mode. You may export your data during this period. After 30 days, your store will be deactivated and data may be archived or deleted.

3.4 Payment Methods

Payments are accepted via bKash, Nagad, Rocket, or bank transfer to our designated number. Payment confirmation is required before service activation.

4. Account & Store Ownership

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your admin credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use via WhatsApp.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Platform to:

  • Sell illegal, counterfeit, or prohibited goods or services
  • Engage in fraudulent transactions or misrepresent products
  • Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights of others
  • Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or disrupt the Platform or its infrastructure
  • Violate any applicable Bangladeshi laws and regulations

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your store for violations of this section without refund.

6. Payment Responsibilities

DokanGo facilitates a manual payment verification workflow. Your customers pay you directly via bKash, Nagad, Rocket, or Cash on Delivery. You are solely responsible for:

  • Verifying payment transactions submitted by customers
  • Issuing refunds or handling payment disputes with your customers
  • Compliance with any applicable tax obligations on your sales

DokanGo is a software platform only and is not a payment processor or financial intermediary.

7. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its code, design, and branding, is the intellectual property of DokanGo. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Platform for one store.

All content you upload to your store (product images, descriptions, etc.) remains your property.

7.1 License Restrictions

You may not modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works based on the Platform's source code. The license is for use of the Platform as provided and cannot be transferred or assigned to another party without our written consent.

8. Service Availability & Uptime

We aim for 99.5% uptime but do not guarantee 100% availability. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated at least 24 hours in advance via WhatsApp or email. Maintenance windows are typically scheduled during low-traffic hours.

We are not liable for losses caused by downtime beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to internet service provider outages, hosting infrastructure failures, or force majeure events.

9. Third-Party Integrations

The Platform integrates with third-party services including Steadfast Courier and Meta Conversions API. You are responsible for:

  • Obtaining and maintaining your own API keys and credentials for these services
  • Complying with the terms of service of each third-party provider
  • Any fees charged by third-party services

We are not liable for failures, interruptions, or changes to third-party services. Integration features are provided as-is and may be modified or discontinued based on third-party availability.

10. Data Backup & Export

10.1 Our Backups

We perform automated backups of your store data daily. Backups are retained for 30 days. While we maintain backups for disaster recovery purposes, you are strongly encouraged to maintain your own backups of critical data.

10.2 Data Export

You may request a full export of your store data at any time by contacting us via WhatsApp. We will provide your data in JSON or CSV format within 3–5 business days. Data exports include:

  • Product listings and inventory
  • Customer information and order history
  • Store settings and configurations

Upon termination or non-renewal, you have 30 days to request a data export before your data is archived or deleted.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DokanGo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of revenue, lost profits, or loss of data.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the preceding 12 months.

12. Force Majeure

We shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, network infrastructure failures, strikes, or shortages of transportation, facilities, fuel, energy, labor, or materials.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Platform at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your store will be deactivated. You have 30 days to request a data export as described in Section 10.2.

14. Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform, you agree to first attempt to resolve the matter informally by contacting us via WhatsApp. We will work in good faith to reach a mutually acceptable resolution within 30 days.

If informal resolution is unsuccessful, disputes shall be resolved through the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh as described in Section 15.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via WhatsApp or the contact information on file at least 15 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
